March 20, 2010 Chess Tournament
Middletown HS, 4 E. Main St., Middletown, NY
4 Challenging Chess Matches for each player
Entry Fee: $2.00 each player
1. Registration: 9:00am on site.
2. Games start at 10:00.
3. Sign up by 9:40 or you may miss the first round.
Prizes: Wood Plaques to section winners. Certificates to others.
5 separate sections: (All Non-USCF rated)
Give Last Name, First Name, School, Grade, Section, Rating Strength (if known)
A Experienced Adult: Good Knowledge of the game, played quite a bit (Over 1200 rating)
B Beginner Adult: Want to learn to improve. Know how the pieces move and may have played somewhat.
C Grades 6-12: All levels of play can compete from these grades. Players here may choose to play in Section A or Section B (Above)
D Grades 3-5: Welcome to the world of chess. Experience the joys and sorrows herein.
E Grades K-2: Develop the spirit of thinking and planning right from the start.
